Reveleer, a Glendale, California-based software company that assists health plans to gain control of their medical record retrieval and review initiatives, successfully closed its Series B funding round.
The round was led by Upfront Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Upfront Partner Kevin Zhang will join the Reveleer board. “We’re thrilled to partner with Kevin Zhang,” said Jay Ackerman, president and CEO of Reveleer. “Kevin has experience in this industry and is passionate about working to bring disruptive solutions to the healthcare market. This new funding will allow us to continue to scale our business while we innovate and support the industry trend towards health plans managing more, if not all, of their record retrieval and review capabilities in-house. We are committed to relentlessly innovating in this space.”
The company intends to use the new funds to expand software development and customer success teams, deliver on its expansive product roadmap, and build on its existing customer base that includes health plans across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Reveleer’s cloud platform looks to improve medical record coding accuracy, increase provider feedback, leverage provider data to impact record retrieval rates, and lower risk of adverse findings from government audits.
