Scott D. Law
Scott has served as a senior executive leader of several industry leading publicly traded managed care organizations that delivers managed health care services through health plans and government-sponsored managed care plans. He has been a section 16 named executive officer for two of the publicly traded managed care companies and has deep experience managing all aspects of healthcare services and provider networks striving to keep healthcare high quality, efficient and affordable.
Most recently, Scott was the National SVP of Healthcare Services for Anthem Healthcare until his decision to retire and move to Asheville, North Carolina. Previously, he was the Healthcare Services Officer of Health Net, Inc until the company’s acquisition by Centene Corporation, where he played an integral role in the sale, including negotiation of undertakings, synergy identification and execution, serving as the company’s integration leader for one-year post acquisition. Prior to the Healthcare Services Officer, Scott had rejoined the company as the Chief Medicare Officer for Health Net, Inc. Mr. Law is responsible for the sales and marketing of Health Net’s Medicare Advantage plans.
Before becoming Health Net’s Chief Medicare Officer in November 2011, Mr. Law was national senior vice president of Healthcare Delivery for WellCare Health Plans, Inc. Before joining WellCare, was his first stint with Health Net for from 2005 to 2009, where he served first as the company’s national chief network officer and later as its national health care delivery officer. He was responsible for all contracting and provider network management for all Health Net health plans. Mr. Law’s experience also includes executive roles with CIGNA Healthcare Corporation and Humana Inc.
Mr. Law earned his MBA from Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa. He also completed the one-year Executive Development Program, Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
