On October 21st, 2020 the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) kicked off the Health & Human Services (HHS) Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) Webinar Series V for Benefit Year 2019. They presented a basic level Introduction to HHS-RADV-IVA, CMS, Initial Validation Auditor (IVA) Entity Responsibilities, Secondary Validation Auditor (SVA) Entity Responsibilities, Issuer (Health Plan) Senior Official (SO) Designation and Program Maintenance.
On October 28th, CMS presented HHS-RADV-IVA operational updates on topics including audit sample selection, the Initial Validation Audit, Second Validation Audit, error estimation, appeals, and payment transfer adjustments.
On Thursday, October 29th, CMS released the HHS-RADV-IVA Entity Election Form to IVA Entities who participated in the previous year’s HHS-RADV-IVA program. The IVA Entity Election form is the means by which organizations can declare their intent to participate as an IVA Entity for the HHS-RADV program for Benefit Year 2019. The deadline to complete the form is 11:59pm ET on November 23, 2020.
The next CMS Regtap HHS-RADV-IVA Session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 2:00pm EST.
Reveleer received email confirmation from CMS on Monday, November 2nd that Reveleer met the regulatory requirements set forth in 45 CFR 153.60 to be an approved IVA Entity for Benefit Year 2019 HHS-RADV-IVA.
